This is the Schools Motto

Friday 19th June 2020

Good morning Year 3,

So we are at the end of another week on home learning, I hope you have enjoyed the activities that have been set.

As always, it has been so lovely to recieve your home learning and also to hear about other activities you have been doing at home.

Miss Thomas is in school again tomorrow, so if You have any questions, please email them to fir@redbournprimary.co.uk

Today's learning

Maths: Please read through the slides.

Then, choose a task to have a go at - either 5A (tricky), 5B (trickier) or 5C (trickiest), choose the task you feel most comfortable at completing.

If you want some more Maths to do, have a look at the Friday Maths challenge on BBC bitesize.

English: Rewatch the clip on BBC teach:

Once you have rewatched the video, you can then use your mindmap for ideas, to write a poem about something in your life. I have written one about Fir class during lockdown. I have added it to the website for you to use as an example. There is no worksheet for this, you can just write it in your home learning book or on paper.

Extra English: If you would like to do some more work on poetry, watch the next clip on BBC teach, and then wite your own tongue twisting poem, there is a worsheet for this on the website.

Wider Curriculum: Choose an activity from the Wider Curriculum menu.

Dont forget to practise your hand writing, spelling and times tables.

As soon as I recieve the spelling test, I will place it on the website.

I hope that, despite the rain that's forecast, you all get a chance to enjoy being outside in the fresh air. Please spend time exercising and outside playing. I look forward to hearing about your fantastic learning and seeing your brilliant achievements.

Best Wishes,

Miss Lee & Miss Thomas
