Dear Year 4 (22.6.20)
Hope you are all well and have had a good weekend! Thank you to all those that contacted me last week and sent me pictures of your work. I've really enjoyed seeing all your work, you've all been working so hard. Unfortunately today and tomorrow both Mrs Smith and I are in school, so we will not be able to respond to emails. However we would still love to see your fantastic work so please still send it to us. We will be picking up emails on Wednesday and can respond to any question or queries then.
I have already uploaded all resources, lessons slides and activities to the website for the whole week. I have created a timetable for this week's home learning, it is there to help add some structure to the week. If you wish to deviate from the timetable because it suits you better please feel free to do so. For each subject I have numbered the lessons in order of completion.
For the English tasks please continue to refer to the writing sheet for the day's writing focus.
There are two Science experiments for you to complete this week, one called 'Popping Rockets' and the other called 'Disco Fruit'. Have a go at the experiments then please write up your findings.
For Maths there are two lessons to do with area, please first read through the supporting slides and then have a go at the attached worksheets.
Topic work this week focuses on Time Zones and the difference between the north and south hemisphere. Again please read through the slides first before attempting the work sheets, as these are design to support you and provide extra information to help you complete the tasks.
Additional lessons might be uploaded to the website during the week, we will notify you of these via the daily emails.
Please continue to choose activities from the extracurricular menu, I hope you enjoying working on these in your afternoons. I look forward to seeing the fantastic learning you guys get up to. Make sure you all work to a schedule that best fits you.
Continue reading regularly everyday as much as possible and learning your spellings.
You can email photos of your learning to me at: email@example.com and I will reply to any emails that you send me, I can provide you with further challenges and ideas if you wish! I will be available to respond to your learning this morning until midday.
