This is the Schools Motto

Monday 8th June 2020

Good morning Cedar Class,

Well done for all your hard work last week.  The paragraphs, photos and videos you sent of your work were lovely and I enjoyed reading and seeing them.

This week we will be beginning a focus on maths.  Mrs Couch and I will be designing lessons and presenting the work to you in a similar way we would be if we were in school.  We will be following the same schedule as BBC bitesize and Whiterose maths with the intention that, if you need the additional practice, a video or a different way of it being explained to you, those resources are there to help you.  We will also try to include some helpful links at the end of each session for you.

We will also be using the Oak National Academy to deliver the English tasks.  This is an online academy that was created to help deliver online lessons during corona virus and has been recommended by the DfE.  You can find out more information about it here if you like.  We have also created a guide to help you navigate the lessons for the first time.  Please read this before you begin to help make the lesson run as smoothly as possible.  Let us know how you get on with it (if you are finding it helpful or too tricky) so we can plan future lessons accordingly.
