Hello Cedar,
Thank you all for sending in your work today. You are all doing such a great job, developing your study habits and rising to the challenge.
Here are the tasks I would like you to have a go at today please:
Spelling: Year 5/6 YouTube test: https://youtu.be/xnRsOTRFFlk

Year 5 & 6 Spelling practice w/c/08/06/20 15 words from the Year 5/6 word list in the appendix of the National Curriculum for English, plus a homophone challenge. youtu.be |
Handwriting: Continue with your 'wizard' handwriting pangram. Can you remember it off by heart yet?
Reading: Spend some quality time reading your own book for pleasure – Update someone on what has happened now.
English: Oak Academy, as per Monday's message. https://classroom.thenational.academy/schedule-by-year/year-5/ It is a revision of cohesive devices. Hopefully the "in-person" instruction will help to clarify any of the bits you were finding tricky.
Maths: Ordering decimal numbers. Read through the slides at the bottom of the message, then complete the task, listed below.
If you want to see a video explanation of how to order decimals, you can go back to the Maths Meetings in the week that begins with 04/05/20. We worked through decimal ordering tasks all week there, so it will be a useful reminder.

It's Thursday! Enjoy your mental fluency practice. youtu.be |
Wider Curriculum: PSHE: Complete the 'Hugs by Post' task listed below. It's a really lovely way to show empathy towards another person in a different situation to your own. Please send me photos of any cards, pictures or messages you create.
Sport: Complete at least 30 minutes physical activity.
As always, I am here to help so send an email if you have any questions.
Stay safe,
Mrs Joseph
