W/B 13th July 2020
Hi Maple Class,
I can hardly believe this is the last week of the year. It has certainly been a strange year and we have all had to adapt to strange new ways of living and learning. I am so proud of all of you! You have all worked really hard, learnt new skills and learnt to work and play with siblings. I have loved seeing all of your work and photographs and supporting your learning at home.
For this final week I have used a video from Literacy Shed and it comes with a lovely set of activities. There are opportunities to practise developing your vocabulary, poetry, responding in different types of writing and creative ideas. I'd love to see some of what you create.
For maths there are some lessons to practise some key calculation skills and I have set a challenge to learn your 2, 5 and 10 times tables over the summer.
I have told Miss Thomas some lovely things about you all! I will miss you greatly, but I know you will all love Year 3 and learning from her.
Have a lovely week! Have fun and be creative!
