Good morning year 3,

 

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and that you managed to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.  It has been so lovely to see all the work you have sent in. You are all so creative and hardworking, you should be very proud of yourselves.

 

 This week, both Miss Lee and Miss Thomas will be in school all week. If you have urgent questions, you can contact the school office.

 

We are sending all the instructions for the week in this email and the files will be on the website.

 

Monday 6th July

 

Maths: 

 

This week we are going to look at mass, moving on to capacity. We are following White Rose this week, which means we have the videos to support learning. The links for the videos are on a document on the website.

 

Please watch the video for lesson 1 measuring mass, then complete the worksheet. Why not check your answers?

 

English:

 

This week, we will be working through another English workbook to further your writing skills. Please work through 'Journey to the Jungle' workbook at your own pace.

 

Geography: 

 

Read through the slides on Rivers and Seas, then choose a worksheet to complete, * tricky, ** trickier or *** trickiest. 

 

Tuesday 7th July

French: The aim of today's lesson is for children to pack a couple of suitcases by cutting and sticking the items, noting the French names for holiday items, as they do it.
