In-Year Admissions

If you are looking to move your child from another school to Redbourn Primary school, during the school year, you must apply for an in-year place via the Hertfordshire County Council, using the link above.

You can make an in year application for most schools in Hertfordshire. You can list up to four school preferences. If places are available, you will be offered your highest preference possible.

Prospective parents are welcome to contact the school for a tour of our school by the Headteacher. This will be an opportunity for you to experience a snapshot of Redbourn Primary School life. Reception Admissions for September 2025

The application system for September 2025 opens on 1st November and closes on 15th January 2025. National allocation day is 16th April 2025.

Prospective Reception parents are welcome to contact the school for a tour of our school. This will be an opportunity for you to experience a snapshot of Redbourn Primary School life. Nursery Admissions for September 2025

Children who will turn 3 years of age between 1st September 2024 and 31st August 2025 are eligible for a Nursery place to start in September 2025.

Nursery Tours (for September 2025 start)

We are excited to be able to welcome prospective parents to join the Headteacher, Miss Emma Fenn, for a tour of our Nursery at Redbourn Primary School. This will be an opportunity for you to experience a snapshot of Redbourn Primary School life. You will see the children learning in their classrooms and hear about Redbourn Nursery class routines.

Tours will be held on the following dates:

• Friday 17^th January – 9.30am (fully booked)

• Wednesday 22^nd January – 9.30am

• Friday 31^st January – 2.00pm (fully booked)

• Thursday 6^th February – 9.30am

• Monday 10^th February – 2.00pm

If you would like to join us on any of the above tours, please phone the School Office on 01582 792341 to book your place. These tours are designed for an adult audience and will last approximately one hour, so we encourage parents to avoid bringing children with them as the tour will involve 30 minutes listening to the Headteacher, with the opportunity to ask questions, followed by 30 minutes walking around the school site. Should you decide to apply to Redbourn Primary School, there will be further opportunities for your child to visit at a later date.
