Redbourn Community Group

Redbourn Community Group (RCG) is a volunteer led registered charity which has been serving the village of Redbourn since 1980.

Previously Redbourn Care Group, the charity has a new name, to reflect its objectives, to provide support to all residents regardless of background, to connect the community together, and to help community projects.

Helping Individuals and Families in the Community

It can be hard to find the funds to pay for essential extras. RCG try to help Redbourn residents in difficulty where there is a specific need. Examples of their help have been:

• Students awards for educational trips
• A grant for a therapy pool, mobility equipment for an injured child
• A grant towards an assistance dog
• A specialised buggy
• Replacement of white goods to relieve deprivation in the home
